Meet Our Staff

Pastor David E. Bowyer Jr. is an Ordained Bishop with the Church of God. He currently serves on the Delmarva DC Regional Youth & Discipleship Board. He holds a Bible & Theology degree with honors from Lee University. Pastor Dave has served in just about every area of ministry, including children, youth, young adults, discipleship, nursing home, prison, and various forms of pastoral ministry. This multi-faceted experience has given him a unique ability to create programs and systems that minister to people from various walks of life and backgrounds. Additionally, his ADHD provides for some interesting and exciting ideas and adventures in ministry!
Melissa Bowyer (Mo) serves as Church Administrator and brings with her over 20 years of experience in management in various retail and financial roles. She greatly compliments pastor Dave’s abstract leadership as being a more pragmatic thinker and planner. Sister Mo has extensive experience in children’s, youth, and family ministry. She is an invaluable part of pastor Dave’s ministry and is a driving force behind implementation of strategies and systems designed to promote stability and spiritual health.
David (12) & Theophilus (4) are pastor Dave and sister Mo’s children. David is excited to serve in any area of ministry needed. He is passionate about the Bible and loves God with all of his heart. Theophilus is a cheerful boy who loves to entertain members of the church with his silly personality and charm.
The Bowyer Family is excited to serve & minister in the city of Seaford by the guidance and direction of the Holy Ghost. They are believing God for miracles and breakthrough for the families, members, and visitors to the Stein Highway Church of God as well as those in the surrounding communities!
